Why we started
Two guys tired of
fighting their skin
We're Rey and Kevin, and we started TryTallow in 2023. Kevin has lived with eczema. Rey dealt with stubborn acne for years. Between the two of us, we tried just about every cream, serum and lotion on the shelf.
Most of them came with long ingredient lists we couldn't pronounce. So we went back to something people have used for generations: grass-fed beef tallow. We paired it with a few simple helpers, olive oil, raw honey, beeswax and essential oils, and stopped there.
What started as a small batch in New Jersey is now trusted by more than 100,000 customers and sold in over 450 stores. We still make it the same way.
